Welcome to Central Library of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). I am very much delighted to share about that it is the first Automated Library among the Public University Libraries in Bangladesh.

Library is the heart of research and development activities of the University. The use of Library Resources is vital for pursuing study and research. It is an integral part of the university and designed to meet the information, research and curriculum needs of its students, faculties, alumni and staff members. It has comprehensive collections to meet the needs of its users. The Library's holdings include a diverse of collection print, non-print and computers resources for all to use.

Keeping the concept of "Digital Bangladesh" in mind, we are transforming our Library into Automated and Digitalized Library funded by the HEQEP under University Grants Commission (UGC). There is a special well decorated corner named "Bangabandhu, Muktijuddha O Bangladesh Corner." It has also a sophisticated "Digital Library Access Center" for students, faculties and staffs where users can easily browse, search, download and print e-resources. Recently we opened "Career Development Center" for students which will empower students for seeking their professional career.

The Library's website is our gateway to find resources and services. The aim of the Library website is to provide a brief introduction to the facilities and services. Central Library is helping the University to fulfill its mission and vision.

When you visit our Library physically or virtually, you will find the huge collection of books, e-books, journals, e-journals and the theses (which have been scanned and uploaded to the software) of Ph.D., M.Phil., MSc. Engg., and MSc. Undergraduate Question Bank is also available in our Institutional Repository. The library provides an attractive and comfortable air-conditioned study environment.
As a librarian of KUET Central Library, I oversee a library team of many dedicated, talented, creative and innovative persons who are committed to strengthening the learning and research initiatives on campus and actively collaborate with campus and community partners to collectively support the success of our students, faculties and alumni.
